EU climate targets oblige companies to be energy efficient – also with regard to lighting technology. By switching to LED technology and digital lighting management systems, companies can realize high potential savings in energy, costs and CO2, as well as additional benefits.
But how do companies find the right lighting solution at the best possible price-performance ratio? And how can manufacturers place their products on the market in an uncomplicated way? Technical and architectural lighting is currently still realized via complex distribution chains. The neutral platform omoa aims to reduce distribution levels and bring supply and demand together digitally.

In a 10-week business design sprint, a sustainably functioning business model will be developed for the already existing platform omoa. TSUS is looking for hands-on talents with expertise in digital marketing & platform innovation as well as IT development & automation. With your know-how, you enrich the core team of omoa GmbH and raise the basic idea to a new level. If the business model is convincing, you will move on to employment and establish the developed concept in the intrapreneur team on the market.
10 weeks of business design to develop an innovative platform
The Tech Startup School accompanies the entire process of developing and validating the business model up to the final pitch and beyond. In 10 weeks, you will take part in intensive on-site workshops with an experienced coach at the Tech Startup School and at the idea generator in Balingen. In between, you will work remotely with your team, supplemented by weekly status calls. You will go through the phases “Discover”, “Design” and “Validate” and create visual prototypes if needed to reach insights in a short time. A validation with potential customers, users and cooperations is part of the procedure. In the “decision phase”, you and your team present the developed business model with financial planning as well as strategies for digital marketing and automation. If the final pitch is convincing, you will become an intrapreneur at omoa GmbH in Balingen.
